What this site collects

This website collects information in three ways, and only three ways:

• Information you send us. When you submit the bid request form, we receive the details you enter: your name, company, phone, email, and project information. We use it to respond to your inquiry, prepare estimates, and conduct business with you. Forms are processed by Netlify, our hosting provider, which stores submissions on our behalf. Netlify screens every submission for spam using Akismet, a spam-filtering service operated by Automattic, which receives the submission for that purpose.
• Job applications. When you apply through the Careers page, we receive the details you enter (name, phone, email, city, the role you are interested in, your experience) and the resume file you attach. We use this only to evaluate you for employment and to contact you about openings. Applications are processed and stored by Netlify on our behalf and are shared only with the people at American Fence & Supply involved in hiring. Netlify screens every submission for spam using Akismet, a spam-filtering service operated by Automattic, which receives the submission for that purpose.
• Analytics, only with your OK. If, and only if, you accept analytics in the cookie notice, this site may load Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors use the site: pages viewed, general region, and how you found us, with IP anonymization enabled. If you decline, no analytics load and no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice anytime via the Cookie Preferences link in the footer, and declining removes existing analytics cookies.

What this site does not do

• No advertising pixels, remarketing tags, or social media trackers.
• No sale of personal information, and no sharing of it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• No tracking before you make a consent choice.
• We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. If your browser sends GPC, this site treats it as a decline on every page, regardless of any earlier choice: no analytics load and any existing analytics cookies are removed.

Who we share information with

Form submissions, spam screening and, if you accept, analytics data are handled by the service providers named above solely to operate this website. We share your information beyond that only when needed to serve your project (for example, coordinating with your general contractor at your request) or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Bid and contact submissions are kept as long as needed to serve the project and meet our business record requirements. Job applications and resumes are kept for up to two years so we can consider you for future openings, unless you ask us to delete them sooner by emailing the address below. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics settings.

Cookie notice

This is the complete list of cookies and browser storage this website can set. There are no others.

Declining analytics prevents the analytics cookies from being set and removes any that exist. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, the site records a decline automatically, on every page, and removes any existing analytics cookies. The consent record stores only your choice and the time it was made, and no personal information.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS. It runs no third-party scripts except Google Analytics after you accept it, which limits the ways your information can be exposed.

If our data practices change, this page changes first, with a new date at the top.
